Collaborate with LUSEM

The collaboration work at LUSEM primarily involves collaboration with the faculty's business partners, students, other academic institutions, alumni, external researchers, and the surrounding community. Our collaboration with external partners is bridging the gap between academia and the business world.

Long-term collaboration

Long-term collaboration is ongoing between LUSEM and the business world. Companies benefit from updated knowledge from researchers who are experts in areas such as business development, leadership, board work, and organisational theory; many of LUSEM's experts have practical experience in both the private and public sectors. In turn, LUSEM can host guest lecturers from these companies, enriching students' knowledge in business-related subjects and providing insight into potential future careers.

LUSEM Career Services

Furthermore, collaboration at the faculty level allows LUSEM Career Center to offer companies and organisations seeking talented professionals an easy way to connect and build relationships with students. This may involve profiling the company or organisation, advertising job openings, tailoring recruitment solutions, participating in seminars and guest lectures, or proposing thesis topics to students. Another example is internships, where a student works for a company or organisation for a specified period.

Alumni activities

Alumni activities are a central part of our external engagement. Former students are invited to maintain contact with their alma mater, promoting lifelong learning and building a vital bridge between academia and the business world. Through their connection to LUSEM and other alumni, the development continues. Alumni serve as ambassadors, creating inspiring opportunities, including participation in alumni meetings, conferences, and lectures through invitations and newsletters.
