The AgriFood Economics Centre aims at bridging applied science and policy. In a complex and rapidly changing world, we provide policy makers with independent and scientifically supported analyses. Policy relevance, reliability and objectivity are the cornerstones of our work.

The Centre for Economic Demography (CED) is an independent research unit administered by the Department of Economic History at LUSEM. The centre includes numerous scholars active in the fields of economic history, economics, social sciences, and medicine who are involved in research on economic and social issues connected to demography, from modern as well as historic aspects and with international comparative perspectives.

The Sparbanken Skåne Centre for sustainable enterprising (SSCEN)is a joint centre for sustainable enterprises and sustainable development founded in 2022, initially financed through a generous donation from Sparbanken Skåne. The aim is that the centre becomes an important part of, and platform for, the development of sustainable businesses and industry. It is shaped and undertaken in close collaboration with businesses, the public sector, and other actors.

Sten K. Johnson Centre for Entrepreneurship aims to be one of the leading centres in Europe with regard to knowledge development and dissemination aiming to strengthen entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs. The centre was founded in 2011 financed by a generous donation from entrepreneur and businessman Sten K. Johnson.
