Waarom zouden we de financiële afhankelijkheid van Nederlandse vrouwen blijven aanmoedigen?

Why would we keep encouraging financial dependency of Dutch women?

Summary, in English

More than 40% of Dutch women are not financially independent. Tax incentives for single earning families encourage this dependence. In this essay in the Dutch financial newspaper Sigrid Hemels argues that it does not make sense to keep such incentives in times as ours in which 40% of all marriages ends in divorce and in which we are faced with increased cost and a reduced workforce due to the ageing society.
