DEVELOP YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THE PROJECT AFFILIATED competence

Collaborating with researchers at LUSEM is an effective, safe, and easy way to get a better basis for decision-making and develop your business with recognized methods and theories from the research front. Many of our professors and researchers have themselves been active in the business world and have experience of business and operational development in both the private and public sectors.
Affiliated competence at the School of Economics and Management strengthens individuals, companies and academia
The School of Economics and Management can now offer a new opportunity for skills development for company employees with key roles or core competences within the business community. While keeping their original position, the employee spends at least 20 per cent of their time at LUSEM, working with teachers and researchers within a chosen field. The period can be between 3 and 12 months.
The overarching aim is to enable individuals with excellence in different areas to further develop their competence for their own sake as well as for the sake of the company and LUSEM. This leads to an individual and needs-based skills development which is defined in dialogue between the employee, the company and the school.
The goal of this venture is to develop and strengthen relations with individual companies and organisations, which in turn can lead to new relevant and valuable projects and collaborations. The concept has been tested in a pilot study at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), where it received very positive feedback from all parties.
