On LUSEM’s “Research grants” page you will find a lengthy list of funders and it is well worth the time spent searching through them. Some offer one or two grants yearly, whereas others like ERC, FORTE, FORMAS, Vetenskapsrådet, VINNOVA and Nordforsk will have several calls out at several times over the year.

If you as a researcher would like some help, assistance or tips on finding grants or how to set up a winning application, the way to go about it can differ from one department to another. For doctoral students, the best advice is to go through your supervisor. Still, irrespective of your seniority, it is always good to let someone else check your text when you have written an application.
