Research at the Department of Informatics
FOR EMPLOYEES AT THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATICS
On this page you can find information and links in support for conducting your research and for research funding.
Research strategy
Our research strategy was created by the researchers at the department and it plays an important role in the development of our research.
The research strategy sets to describe information systems as a research discipline in general, but also specifically at the Department of Informatics. It details our mission, values, and aspirations within our research. Furthermore it expresses how we can achieve those aspirations and outlines the expectations on our members of staff.

Research support at LU
Lund University offers research support to researchers that are planning or currently running research projects, throughout the entire reserach process.
Support in the research process
LUCRIS
LUCRIS is the research information system at Lund University where researchers, publications and research projects are registered and presented. You must administrate and manage your own personal page where you describe your teaching and research. You are also obligated to register all research publications and externally funded projects you participate in while employed by Lund University.
Learn how to edit your personal page and what's expected of you in the quick guide LUCRIS at LUSEM. You can find more information about LUCRIS on LU Staff pages. If you need help, contact Carla Böhme or the LUSEM library.
Library services at LUSEM
The LUSEM library offers research support during the research process when it comes to information resources, publications, open access questions, etc.
They can also help with LUCRIS where you publish your personal profile and research projects. They can help with submitting publications, importing older publications, creating CVs, posting activities and so on.
PhD studies in Informatics
You can find information pages for doctoral students on Canvas.
The PhD handbook is a guide for those who are pursuing a doctoral degree in Sweden, created by Sweden’s United Student Unions.
