Getting to the department

It is common to fly to Copenhagen airport (CPH) when travelling internationally to Lund since it is the closest large airport. From there, you can get on a direct train to Lund Central Station (Lund C).

There are several ways to get to the School of Economics and Management from Lund C. The closest bus/tram stops are:

  • Lund Warholms väg (bus connection 6 or 7 from Lund C)
  • Lund Sparta (bus connection 6 or 7 from Lund C)
  • Lund LTH (tram connection 1 from Lund C)

We are located in the Holger Crafoord Centre, building 2, on the second floor.

Common areas

As a guest at the department, you are welcome to use and enjoy our common areas. Please help yourself to some coffee, tea or fruit (free of charge) found in our department kitchen.

We have a "Visiting Fellows" shared office room with several desks equipped with screens, keyboards and mice. Here, you can plug in your device to set up a temporary workstation. Please contact the administration for access.

Printing

You are welcome to use our printing facilities free of charge. Please contact an administrator for help with printing.

Connecting to our network

There are currently two different wireless networks to which visitors can connect:

LU Guest
This network is appropriate for shorter visits. Select "LU Guest" in the list of available networks on your computer or tablet and enter your name and mobile phone number or email address. The login details will be sent to you within a minute, allowing you to log in to LU Guest. The duration of the internet connections is limited to 24 hours.

Eduroam
This network is appropriate for longer visits and takes slightly longer to set up. You need an LU account to connect to this network. Please contact the department administrator for more details.

LU access card

If you are visiting for several days, you may need an LU access card. Please contact the department administrator to be added to our database Lucat.

Once you are added to our database, you must go to a card office. Please bring your ID. They will take your picture and you will then receive your card within a few minutes.

The card needs to be “updated” daily by holding it in front of an updating reader. This also needs to be done before you use the card for the first time. Wait at least an hour after receiving your card before updating it for the first time. The reader will flash blue, please keep your card in front of the reader until the light turns green. This can take up to fifteen seconds the first time you update a new card. The updating readers are located inside, by most building entrances.

You will automatically gain access to the department and all common rooms. Please let the department administrator know if you need access to any additional rooms.
