You pay tuition fee per programme year, to the university at which you will be studying.

Tuition fee 1st year at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain

Students starting the Master's in Economic Development and Growth programme in Madrid, pay Universidad Carlos III de Madrid tuition fee for the first year.

  • EU/EEA citizens: €7,800 per year
  • Non-EU/EEA citizens: €11,700 per year

Tuition fee 1st year at University of Groningen, The Netherlands

Students starting the Master's in Economic Development and Growth programme in Groningen, pay University of Groningen tuition fee for the first year.

  • EU/EEA citizens: €1,984 per year
  • Non-EU/EEA citizens: €13,900 per year

Tuition fee 2nd year at Lund University, Sweden

All selected students spend the second year at Lund University, and pay Lund University tuition fee for the second year.

  • EU/EEA citizens and Switzerland: no application or tuition fees
  • Non-EU/EEA citizens: SEK 120,000 per year (approximately €12,700)

Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are generally required to pay application and tuition fees. How to make your payment

Students are required to pay the annual tuition fee at the beginning of the autumn semester, either at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid or University of Groningen for the first year and at Lund University for the second year. More information on how to make the payment will be sent to students admitted to the programme. Student failing to meet this requirement will not be allowed to start the Master's in Economic Development and Growth.

MEDEG was previously an Erasmus Mundus programme funded by the EU. From the 2015 intake you pay tuition fee per programme year, to the university at which you will be studying.
