Our collections

We have several collections in the library. Here is information about where you can find them and which material you have to order in advance.

Course books (Kursbok)

The course books are placed on open shelves in the room past the computers. The borrowing time is two weeks and the overdue fee is 10 SEK per book and day. If there is no queue, you can extend the borrowing time.
Course books as reference copies can only be read in the library and are picked up at the circulation desk.

Open Collection (Öppen samling - ÖS)

Our open collection consists of popular circulating literature, and is placed on open shelves in front of the circulation desk. You are guaranteed a loan period of 28 days, and thereafter the book can be requested by someone else. 

Closed stacks (Magasin)

Books placed in closed stacks and must be ordered in our library catalogue LUBcat. A notification is sent out via e-mail when the book is available for pick-up. You are guaranteed a loan period of 28 days, and thereafter the book can be requested by someone else. 

Research Policy Institute Library (Inst 810)

These books are placed at the Research Policy Institute and must be ordered in our library catalogue LUBcat. A notification is sent out via e-mail when the book is available for pick-up. You are guaranteed a loan period of 28 days, and thereafter the book can be requested by someone else. 

Journals

Our journals are placed in closed stacks and must be ordered in our library catalogue LUBcat. A notification is sent out via e-mail when the journal is available for pick-up. The borrowing time is one week.
The present volume of a selection of our journals is placed on open shelves in our basement. These may not be taken home.

Annual reports

The annual reports are placed on open shelves in our basement. The borrowing time is two weeks.

E-books

E-books can be found in LUBcat and in LUBsearch. Most e-books can be downloaded and sometimes you can print a selection of pages. If you want to read an e-book outside the campus, you log in with your Student- or Lucat-ID.
