The Libraries at Lund University are changing library system. In June, a new library system, LUBcat, will replace our current system, Lovisa.
Lovisa will be shut down the 7th of June at 12:00 am and LUBcat will be up and running before midsummer, the 22nd of June. During this period, services for loaning and returning books will be limited and services will vary between the libraries. At the School of Economics and Management Library this implies:
Borrow and return books – You can borrow and return books at the School of Economics and Management Library during the replacement period, but we greatly appreciate if you do this before the 7th of June. Course books borrowed or renewed the 21st of May or later, are to be returned the 4th of September.
Request books – From the 25th of May, it will not be possible to order books from the closed stacks or from one library at Lund University to another.
Renew your loans – You will not be able to renew your loans during this period, but no books need to be returned between the 6th and 24th of June.
Queue on books – You will not be able to queue on books during this period.
Search for books – In the joint catalogue for Swedish libraries, Libris, you can see if any of the libraries at Lund University holds the book. You can also use LUBsearch, where you find our electronic books, journals and databases. Please ask the library if you need help finding books.
Interlibrary loans – If you need to order an interlibrary loan during this period, you can send an e-mail to Lars-Olof Ivarsson with the following information: The books author, title, edition, ISBN/ISSN, your name, e-mail address and library card number (last ten digits at your LU card).
If you have any questions, please contact us or send an e-mail to email@example.com.
