RQ20

The new major research quality evaluation at Lund University

Research at Lund University has been evaluated by external reviewers this year, and Economic History turns out successfully. The RQ20 evaluation report gives strong praise for the Department’s collegial culture, its open and inclusive research strategy and its three foundations: relevance, internationalization and building research infrastructure (databases). According to the report, this has created an impressively productive, creative and diversified research environment, extreme success in winning research grants, strong results in publications both in terms of number and breadth, and enabled the recruitment of a diverse research team, both in terms of subjects, gender and nationality.
