Workshop with a focus on critical entrepreneurship education
Entrepreneurship research has developed into a quite mature field, and entrepreneurship education has existed in our universities for some decades. Over the last few years, we have seen a new topic emerging within the field of entrepreneurship education: critical entrepreneurship education. But what is critical entrepreneurship education?
Since 2012, The Sten K. Johnson Centre for Entrepreneurship arranges the European Entrepreneurship Education Workshop annually. During the EEEW 2018 we aim to discuss how we make sense of the concept of critical thinking in the setting of entrepreneurship education. We will learn more about how we can use design thinking, and design thinking methods, as a teaching-learning approach in entrepreneurship education.
The 2018 edition of the workshop will be held 19-20 April.
At the workshop researchers, educators and policy-makers interested in entrepreneurship meet to advance our understanding of how entrepreneurship is best learned and taught. This year the focus will be critical entrepreneurship education.
The event gives you the opportunity to meet with entrepreneurial minds engaged in entrepreneurship education. You will also have the opportunity to participate in interacitve activities and cutting edge round table discussions.
In connection with the workshop, the European Entrepreneurship Education Award is awarded to a person or organisation which has significantly contributed to the development of academic entrepreneurship education in Europe. This year the award goes to Professor Helle Neergaard and Associate Professor Per Blenker at Aarhus University, Denmark.
