Welcome to a digital afternoon of talks at the Lund University School of Economics and Management. The theme: Leadership of Tomorrow – challenges and perspectives. We will also – digitally – deliver the Jan Söderberg Family Prize in Economics and Management to Professor Nathan Nunn of Harvard University.

You are very welcome to a digital afternoon of popular science interviews and talks, hosted by the Lund University School of Economics and Management.
The Jan Söderberg Family Prize in Economics and Management
Looking back and moving forward: The importance of history for economic development. That is the topic of the Prize Lecture that Harvard Professor Nathan Nunn will give on 24 March. He is the 2020 recipient of the Jan Söderberg Family Prize in Economics and Management. Nathan Nunn will talk about his research with a focus on economic development.
We will also deliver a digital prize ceremony in honour of Professor Nunn. The participants will be:
- Mats Benner, Dean, LUSEM
- Jan and Åsa Söderberg, donors and initiators of the Prize
- Ellen Hillbom, Professor of Economic History, LUSEM
- Nathan Nunn, Professor of Economics, Harvard University.

The Economics and Management Day and the award ceremony would have taken place in March 2020, but the corona pandemic naturally caused us to postpone the event. But now we look forward to it finally being able to take place – albeit digitally.
