Tuition fees and payment

There are no tuition fees for citizens of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. Fees for full-time Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in the 2017/18 academic year are listed in the table below and cover the full year of study for non-EU/EEA citizens. Tuition fees are to be paid in SEK.

Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are generally required to pay application and tuition fees. Tuition fees and residence permits

Once the tuition fee for the first semester is paid, you can apply for your residence permit through the Swedish Migration Agency.

Paying your fees

The following information applies for international students outside the European Union, European Economic Area, and Switzerland.

Application fee
You must pay the application fee of SEK 900 (approximately €100) in order for your application to be considered. The deadline for receipt of application fee is 1 February 2017.

Tuition fee
Once you have received notification of your acceptance to the programme and have confirmed that you will accept your place, you will receive an email with information on how to pay the invoice for your tuition fee. Payment is due by 15 June 2017 for autumn semester studies.

If you have been granted a scholarship, the amount awarded will be deducted from your invoice accordingly.
